MWF class group speech check in
Check in with me by leaving a comment on this post to tell me where you’re at are a group. This MUST be done by 5pm Wednesday.
Group Speech
Next week we’ll talk about this assignment and you’ll have two full class periods to work on it. However what you’re learning in the library sessions this week will help you with this assignment as well as your informational and persuasive speeches.
I fully expect you to use what you’re being taught, to search for WORTHWHILE information, to address your problem, provide information and persuade your audience. I will grade you based on teh quality of your information.

We will pick groups next week. I’ll also be giving a specific outline that I want you to use for this assignment, when we talk about this.
Outline is now available for download HERE. It is a word document that you can edit and change on your own. Your group must turn in ONE FINAL TYPED DRAFT.
MWF class, change to schedule
There have been some significant changes to the course schedule. An update version of the schedule for the rest of the semester is available for download, below.
Surveys
Everyone must take 2 surveys. Make sure you take the ones that are for YOUR CLASS, so read the directions below VERY carefully. Question 2 on the first survey will ask your name and gender. Enter your name in order to get credit. I expect everyone to do both surveys (for 5 points added to your lowest grade at the end of the semester). It shouldn’t take you more than 15 minutes total. If you already did these surveys through the e-mail I sent out then you don’t need to do them again.
If you are in my MWF class (section 06) that meets from 11:30-12:30 Click on the 2 links below to complete BOTH surveys. You must do both to get credit.

For the MWF class, this needs to be done before 9am on Monday. For the TR class, this needs to be done before 9am on Tuesday.
